13/26 Melky lifetime vs. Sanchez.

 

Four hrs this year....4 all last season against Anibal.

This may just be me, but did anyone else notice that when Micah made Sanchez work to get him out by taking a couple pitches and fouling a few off, that Sanchez lost his rythm bc of that.

When Eaton and Cabrera are getting on base, this offense can be elite.

Hopefully 4 runs is all Sale needs

Johnson and LaRoche have been our best hitters when it comes to working counts. I feel like Johnson is acting like he is a lead off guy trying to make a pitcher work his counts.

Nobody there to cover 1b...giving Cabrera a shot with a runner on base.

LaRoche has a .533 SLG (SSS), something Adam Dunn had not done since before signing a four year contract with the White Sox.

 

Obviously since he hit a homer, wasn't saying it to be insulting. Just the similarities to Dunn are striking to me: name, lefty DH coming over from Nats, homers a lot, striking out a ton, low average, can't hit lefties, great clubhouse guy

that is Sale's job. Not sure how you can expect a 2B to get over there to cover 1st on a groundball to the first baseman
