Q should go 7 safely. No need to worry about his pitch count after all.

What shows you he's a good base stealer? He has consistently failed to steal bases at a satisfactory level from AA up.

I don't think he is great but I think he can be average. He is still learning the game and he will learn base running. I think he has the speed to steal bases, he just needs to learn the technique

I'll be frank, if I was Quintana I'd slug a couple of the position players. Despite how bad our offense has been this year, I can't comprehend how he consistently gets 1 to 2 runs of support a game. Dude deserves way better.

We score almost 2 runs per game less for him than the next starter on our team.

The game!!!

Crushed! Nice fastball to Adam

At least that reduces the chances of Q taking the L.

LaRoche! Off of the guy with the ERA under 1, too! Hopefully we can get it up even higher...

That is 1! can we get 2 more?

Another ND for Q?

Another ND for Q?

Better than L.

LaRoche now has a .778 OPS, when will posters stop including him in the list of underperformers?

Springer has Quintana's number...

Any OPS under .800 for your clean-up hitter is never anything worth writing home about.

Nice catch!

Then stop playing him so often against lefties.

Couldn't agree more.

Got hit hard there but he gets out of it. Good outing Q

I understand that, but he's being lumped in with guys with OPSs around .600, it's an unfair comparison. His numbers since the beginning of May are also more than adequate.

Hopefully we can score here and get Q a W.
