Yes. I was saying the same thing. Our manager is dumb. That would have been an inning ending double play right there. I know I know "it's not Robins fault" .

RV is a joke to watch on a daily basis.

Worst manager in the AL central by far.

OT: But Hawk and Stone mentioned Correa and I had no idea how much he was raking. Jesus.

Funny to see those fans immediately interfere with the ball on Longoria's hit. They need to eject all fans for their foolishness on such plays. You get seats in the front row you gotta use your head. In a big game you do that and become a Bartman forever.

Dude's got like 15 HR or something. Monster

Why pitch to Longoria but intentionally walk Canrera there? Man this staff is all sorts of baseball stupid

He is 100% the real deal. Houston building a nice team.

We had to score at least one to win anyways so now we just need 2.

Are you kidding? This year the guys we've had on the DL are Bonifacio, Shuck, and Albers. Our record of health this year is ridiculously good. We've basically lost 0 of our key contributors for more than a couple games at a time. Compare that to the Cardinals where they've lost their #1 starter and their top offensive contributor has been on the DL twice - where would we be with that?

If we have a normal number of injuries next eyar people will be calling us "snakebit" because we'll seem so much more banged up than this season.

Unless you consider the poor start a result of Sale's foot problems, Conor's foot, Abreu and LaRoche have been off and on health-wise, but no major injuries that have wiped out months of playing time.

Besides the Cardinals, look at all injuries to the Rays and their starters (Moore, Smyly, Odorizzi, Cobb, etc.) and they have a better record than the White Sox with about 2/3rds of our payroll.

Wow this defense sucks tonight. Avi has no business playing

Avi figures to get the 2 day off LaRoche treatment after this one. He should get 2 months off though, playing in the minors. Pretty lousy of Detroit to rush a guy with tools. His career is OVA or at least in the Viciedo stages after this effort tonite.

"Pitches out of it!"

no, hawk. the game was tied before he came in.

Petricka up to 97-98 there...?

Mysterious how you can have that type of stuff and have a similar K rate to John Danks.

the incompetence of Robin Ventura strikes again...

great guy though

Nice job Petricka. My guess is we either score this inning or lose. But we're still in this game because of that strikeout. A hit there and it woulda been OVA.

I really hope we can flip Avi this winter. I think it's safe to say he is not the long term answer in RF.

Pinch hit!!!

I just want to shake Robin and maybe punch him for his stupid decisions

Forgive me if this has been said, but Jose Abreu sure loves hitting at home vs Tampa Bay.

LaRoche vs LHP! Yay!

They didn't rush him, like most Latin American guys he started his career at 16.

He has somewhere in the vicinity of 2000 minor league at-bats.

Basically, your instincts don't improve much defensively if they're non-existent in the first place. And he hit over .300 his first time up, just like the first couple of months this year with the BABIP good fortune.

Funny thing is, the Astros took some heat passing on Appel for him cause of signability issues. Then they wind up getting Appel a year later and Correa is still the better prospect.

Good work Adam..thanks for playing

Robin is seriously sleeping at the wheel and it is pissing me off big time

the coaching staff doesn't give two s***s about winning games, if they did there's zero chance of Laroche hitting right there

i was like "wtf? why aren't they pinch-hitting here?"

*strikes out*

ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff*** this team
