If the Bulls want to beat Cleveland in the playoffs, each of the following has to happen:

-Rose plays like he did last night (which actually isn't too far-fetched)

-Butler plays good defense but remains a viable offensive option

-Mirotic has to come to play, and not put up 2 points like last night

-At least 3 of our top 4 bigs have to be healthy (Portis would slip into the #4 spot)

-McDermott and Moore have to continue being solid role players

Not impossible, but we'll see.

Only saw 4th quarter yesterday, did McDermott start over Snell?

Yep. And when Snell came in he immediately threw two passes at people looking the other way

Missed the game last night, nice to see. Still want to see our pace enter top ten or else I don't know what Hoiberg is for.

He also hit a couple of big threes and had one good drive and dish. I think he and McDermott played about equally. My issue with McBuckets is that he's only doing one thing - running around looking to shoot a three. I wish he'd add some more to his game.

Add to that: Something has to happen to LeBron James.

Honestly won't get excited about Bulls until I see meaningful changes in offense. This team is still slow and plodding, with everyone watching isos. If he really can improve pace and get th eball moving (Dunleavy is the best on the team at this), I'll get on board. Would love to trade for a PG and get Portis involved.

I still don't think we have the players to run this offense, seems like a me-too move.

All that could happen and they would still lose. They will never, ever beat a LeBron James-led team when it counts. Only western conference teams do that.

J4L = Ken M in this thread.

Well he's right.

"Will never" is troll speak. "Probably won't," "isn't likely", etc. are reasonable people speak.

Then I'm just a troll. If last year didn't convince you then you're either dumb (not you, bulls fans in general) or in denial. #itcouldhappen! #angelsintheoutfield!

I don't think I've ever seen a J4L post that didn't have some kind of absolute in it. His world is completely black and white.

I don't disagree with your ultimate point, but the absolute/extreme language just makes you sound like a troll. This is sports. There are no guarantees. How many times have you given absolute predictions that never happen. Weren't you the one saying Lebron would have 5-6 rings by now? The Heat would win more than 72? How'd that work out?

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 5, 2015 -> 07:31 PM)
Pretty good win there actually. In the first I thought OKC was running away with it.

Yeah, whatever happened between the 1st and the 2nd, changed when Rose showed up. He played far more aggressive beginning in the 2nd quarter and the Bulls offense took off.

By the way, the overall team movement was much improved as well yesterday. Less ISO / 1 on 1 and a lot more movement and Rose even had a few pretty dishes (as did others).

Oh and it was just a fun game to watch too.

Are Bulls fans stoked about Hoiberg? What's the fan reaction after a few games?

Jesus Wiggins

KAT too. Wolves are going to be scary very soon.

Does Taj ever give the ball up if he is near the paint?

So the Bulls offense doesn't look great. They had plenty of chances to bury the Wolves.

Jimmy, Niko,mand Rose were pretty bad and still got to OT. Ugh

Bulls just tied the NBA record for fewest points in an OT
