Indications are Bulls are working to schedule trade call with league for small deal. Kings-Gasol stuff, I'm told, is all but dead.

Hinrich to Hawks for 2nd round pick

It sounds like Philadelphia wouldn't cooperate with the King/Bulls. I thought that might be a problem. Sacramento is stupid.

So Bulls save a bit of money, but I find it odd they moved Hinrich without getting another guard.

The Bulls front office saw the sinking ship of a season, and thought "Shoot, we should save some money!"

God I hope the Bulls miss the playoffs.

They won't miss the playoffs. Well injuries might cause them too, but I doubt they will. I wonder if Pau is going to sign an extension sooner vs. later (and if the trade talk kind of forced the two sides to get together and plan accordingly).

Why on earth would you sign Gasol to an extension?
