I wonder what the Sox could get for DRob.

Just a little less I would think. Kimbrel under team contract thru 17

Oh my that's a lot

Guerra being in there is super surprising

Highway robbery by San Diego

Yeah I agree. Allen looks like he'll be the lottery ticket as he was just drafted out of HS this past year, and Asuaje (sp?) looks like a utility type player.

When you see this type of package for Kimbrel, it really makes me hope Hahn is listening on Sale.

The package you said for Sale yesterday, after this trade, I think it could be more.

Guerra is one the top SS prospects . Defense is elite level and offense is coming on

Thing is...I dont know if I trust Hahn to get a package where I be comfortable with seeing him leave. I imagine Jerry wouldnt be happy with that move.

Sale is a lot more valuable than Kimbrel IMO.

Sale and Eaton for Betts, Bogaerts, Swihart, Devers, and Owens.

Boston say no?

That's obvious. It starts with Bogaerts, Swihart +

Yes.

of course, which means the package would be even larger (that sounds bad)

Get going Hahn lol. Man we could clean up if we moved Sale or Q in relation to what the Pads got for Kimbrel.

I'd like to thank the Padres for providing the groundwork for what our expectations should be. Which, to say, is even more than Kimbrell. Hahn needs exactly this type of return (adjusted more for a starter, of course) to improve this ballclub

Exactly. If I'm moving a huge value in Q, it's for a haul.

And please no Nester Molina's In return...

I trust Hahn on this. After all Montas is the prized return in the Peavy deal not Avi. Still may have something in Wendelken too.

In your opinion? Well it's pretty obvious to everyone.

Not according to some people on here...

I've seen a few members on this website that think Sale is worth very little. It makes no sense to me.

They're delusional then.

he is, but market value of bullpen stoppers (not necessarily closers) steadily rising.

I also wonder if San Diego didn't get more back for Kimbrel than they gave for him.

They got more from what I read. They did really well.

I think Margot is rule 5 eligible.

Anyway, Boston didn't trade away anything that would be a key piece in what I'd want in a Q trade.
