That high ERA was due to them trying to have him throw fewer sliders

I don't think him not being ready was the problem.

February 26, 201610 yr I have no issue with this either. He seems to get fatigued during the dog days of summer, so maybe giving him less innings in the spring would help with that. It's a big if, but it is ESSENTIAL to have Sale healthy and dominant if they stay in the hunt during September and October. Without him, the Sox have no chance.
