How many games will the White Sox win in 2016. Make your prediction.

If you skip this thread, you officially can't talk about how you knew the Sox would win so many games after the fact.

Probably more of the same. 77 wins.

There are about 13 AL teams that think they can make playoffs if everything goes right. The Sox are one of them. That's all I can hope for right now.

Fixed it. I was trying to cluster the narrowest options in the middle, and the widest at the end.

Back from the dead to chime in. . .

88 wins in 2016. Good enough for at least a WC spot.

85-77

Competitive, but I objectively think that the Tigers will do slightly better and the Royals will win 90-ish games (but not the pennant again).

Generated by my brain while playing the Show and realizing we don't have a bunch of corpses on the roster anymore. This is a legit team with some real mid-season boost potential due to high-ceiling prospects possibly coming up (ie Fulmer and Anderson).

The addition of Jackson was so important to this team. It gives us another guy who actually belongs in the bigs in case LaRoche predictably doesn't bounce back.

This team is really quite solid, and the pitching staff is amazing. There's no reason Rodon can't take a massive leap this year, either.

I fear our pitcher-injury luck will run out this year.

That's another factor. Makes last year that much more frustrating because the Sox were mostly a healthy team.

I don't remember a year with a league that has this much parity. Very tough to predict this year.

I went 87. But wouldn't be surprised with a 5 game swing either way. Hopefully the right way.

This team could go either way easily. I can see them winning 95+ and I can see them winning 72.

I can't see that much out of the present outfield, power-wise.

86 good pitching, better defense.

80 wins, though I think they will finish just 3-4 games out from Wild Card spots and about the same for the Division. There just isn't a lot of disparity top to bottom in the AL.
