Game time: 1:10 CST

Richards (0-2) vs Sale (3-0)

Sox back at it early today. I'll be home about 4 so I'm going to miss most of the game. I have it on record. Let's get some runs early and let Sale cruise. Let's be the first team in the central to double digit wins.

Our schedule has been very weird to start.

Let's get another CGSO from Sale.

Every time Sale faces the Angels, I think about that horrible game where Trout hit a grand slam off of him :(

That was the one time Sale got owned, otherwise he's shut down the wonderboy.

He didn't even get owned, he was dominant the entire game before he ran out of gas in that inning because Robin left him in way too long.

I was out at a bar in Des Moines, IA for a friend's bachelor party during that game. Saw it on TV, was not in a completely coherent state of mind, thought I was dreaming. So for me, it never happened.

Yah, it has. Been busy at work and with some stuff outside of work, haven't been able to catch nearly as many games as I'd like. Probably the least # of games I've watched (outside of the two I attended in MN) in any season I can remember. The schedule to this point has sucked.

I like that, but more reason for Ishikawa to be here?

If i remember correctly, that pen was superterribadawful and going to the Pen was the nuclear option

In other words, sticking with Sale was probably the best bet

So I'd guess Abreu DHs

But Sale looked horrible the inning before the Trout grand slam, and Robin brought him out for the next inning when he shouldn't have.

Nice that Avi isn't in the lineup. Think Ventura is sitting him for not hitting or is he just giving him rest?

It's just because Abreu needs a break from fielding for a day and Sands can play first. There's no accountability here so it's not like he's sitting for his s***ty ABs and awful plate approach

Why would it be for disciplinary reasons?

What did he do that would get him benched for disciplinary reason? I must have missed it.

I see this said a lot but where did this come from? Why is there no accountability here?

I just don't see it with Robin and some of the young players. I would've pulled Avi after that first awful AB and put in Sands. Maybe it doesn't work but it would've sent a message to Avi that his awful ABs and approach won't be tolerated.

You dont bench a guy after his first at bat. You bench a guy after a bunch of bad at bats strung together, for the entire game. Like today
