Time for AJax to shut me up. How about a gapper to right center like he used to do in Detroit?

Again, nice patience. A base hit can tie it, a gapper wins it.

jackson.

f*** I thought that was gone off the bat

Damn, I thought he had that off of the bat. just under it.

wellp.

That's been the story so far for Jackson this year. Ball looks good off the bat but doesn't go.

Well this is the worst loss of the year IMO.

So close.

Like i said. team needs a day off.

He just can't get the job done. Massive warning track power this year.

Swinging first pitch after 2 straight walks. STUPID.

I was watching the gamecast, did he almost hit a dinger?

One centimeter from winning the game. Jackson is always "almost" there

Eh, that was the best pitch he was going to see. It was centercut, thigh high. He absolutely grooved that pitch.

Most predictable strikeout of the season. I miss first half 2014 Abreu.

Abreu is not thinking enough at the plate. If the opposing pitchers are throwing inside pitchers and outside sliders to take advantage of his aggressiveness, just be more selective. He's getting himself out on swinging strikes because he's pressing to carry a struggling offense. A stat was mentioned how he's far more patient with runners on base.

Should have won this one.

That was a perfect pitch to hit, and he almost won the game.

Duke lost this game

Eh. You gotta score more than two runs.

Yeah, no. Terrible offense did

Great pitching, sans Danks.

2 runs in 6 innings is awful, how could a team live with that?

Street was throwing meatballs. Abreu missed one. I agree that one the jackson was a hanger.

It was a rolling curveball, he crushed it. I wouldn't want batters going up there looking for a walk every single time. Looking for the win, not the tie. Good decision to swing there. Jackson has been the bearer of bad luck this year.

As a fan, those are the worst times for a ball to look good off of a bat just to be a warning track shot.
