At the point where the double play should have ended the inning

It should but didn't. He keeps falling behind with the batters and looks like he's lobbing his pitches. Not much finish on some of them.

A lot of people complaining about velocity. I'm wondering if the Texas gun is a bit slower? Jones was 94-95 and Robertson was 90-91.

Plus, Lewis was blowing 87 mph fastballs by us. Could be fatigue, but a little food for thought

The Sox are going to lose two games this week. This is one of them. The other one will either be tomorrow or Sunday.

If the Texas gun was actually down, that means Miguel Gonzalez was actually throwing 92-95.

That would be pretty hard to believe, giving the main reason the O's cut bait with him was diminishing velocity.

So Carroll will come in if the game is resumed...?

What's the normal amount of time they would allow a starter to sit? No longer than 1 hour, 1 hour 15 minutes...tops, seems to be my recollection, also depending on weather conditions (freezing cold in April, etc.)

Rodon hit 94-95 a few times in the first two innings. I think he is trying to do what Sale has been doing with the contact thing and not overthrowing

Any updates? Looks like by the radar that it might be clearing up for about an hour.

possibility of a double header tomorrow?

Resuming at 905

9:05 is expected restart for this one, with Sox trailing Rangers 2-1 after 2 innings.

When did the delay officially begin?

Rodon threw his last pitch at 7:45

And we are back with a flyout to LF from Jackson.. Holland still on the mound

Reminder for the haterz that Rollins crushes lefties

Good start!

5 hits so far from 1-3

In Omaha for a job interview tonight - so being just a mile over the river at a hotel means I can watch the free game of the day!

Also, let us continue base balling.

Rollins must have been reading SoxTalk the last 24 hours.

Three hits in a row now.
