How close was Abreu's ball to going out?

Following on GameDay. That's two near misses, the other was Austin Jackson's to LF against the Angels that would have been a walk-off winner.

Reminder that Jerry Sands is a wastep of a roster spot.

Why are we talking about Jerry Sands?

Stone mentioned him on the bench

Because he should be in AAA.

If I were a hitter I would find that windup really annoying more than confusing.

it's the release point + movement that works for him.

End it, you cannuck.

As a lefty hitter tho, you get a pretty good look at it out of his hand.

Too many balls swung at out of the zone in addition to high pitches swung at.

Swing. At. Strikes.

Have hated Neshek ever since he used to own us pitching for the Piranhas.

crazy I literally thought that at the same moment I read your post.

I will give him this: he has a pissload of movement on his fastball. Jesus, talk about a running fastball.

Giving some great pitches to hit

Every batter this inning has got at least one ball right down the middle. Much like Robertson though it can still be hard to hit thanks to the movement it seems.

Hit the 90 MPH fastball!

s***

Lawrie just struggling to drop the barrel on the ball
