Wouldn't they have just made Springer go back

Batter and runner would be called out.

No

What was Saladino f***ing around with the bunt? Just concentrate on stroking a hit, you dummy. Two out.

Enough about the umps. We lost this game. Albers can't finish innings anymore, Abreu has consistently failed to be a dangerous run producer, we played an absurdly weak lineup against a tough pitcher and we failed to use Frazier. Should have used him in the ninth, where he could have ended it or continued the threat, which Saladino's much celebrated SF did not do. This is on us. Not an ump.

No

I used to think that but why did Rollins go back on Abreu's earlier in year

So you a criticizing not using a guy who hasn't had an off day all year and has the flu and a guy who is responsible for 2 of our 4 runs tonight?

Oh wow. Shock the world!

Eaton is so awesome. Can Frazier catch?

True ... but ....

If they make the easy call, the right call, we get a chance to win it in the bottom of the inning. Never know. Sox mighta won it there. Good post, though.

Damn, too bad Aliva is up

Why couldn;t the 1st base ump call the interference. The guy behind the plate totally missed calling the play at second.

Adam's got some great warning track pop lol

Too bad we don't have another catcher. I don't like the Avila Sipp matchup.

Lets go Avila.

Where's Willis Reed?

Way to go, Adam. You, sir, are a good man.

At least we don't have to worry about Beckham or Flowers coming up in this situation.

Just a single, Avila. I've never liked you. Prove me wrong.

Could have been Rollins vs a lefty :(

Avila blast.

The batter would of been out and the runner would of returned to his original base on the interference.

I guess I don't remember this and remember it being a double play.

Horrible lose. Umpiring and pitching a joke
