Abreu isn't a great defender but at least he's not taking it to the field with him

Over a full season, Abreu's still on pace for 22ish homers and 100+ RBI's but it feels like he should have about 40 RBI's instead of 28.

 

The homer robbed by Springer didn't help matters, either. That's always frustrating.

Juan Uribe got a very nice ovation coming back to Chicago, good to see from our fans.

He was really beloved in that clubhouse, especially by Buehrle. Will never forget 2004 .400 hitting Juan, along with the dive down the 3B line stands and the final play of the game, barely nipping Orlando Palmeiro on that bounding ball up the middle.

Honestly, Johnson has looked surprisingly solid so far. Anderson, too. Figured this would have been the 7-6 game.

I saw Juan leaving the stadium in a convertible BMW with two girls and a buddy in the front pumping music. He looked at us at a light and just nodded. It was f***ing awesome.
