Anderson's debut a hugely successful one, and Ventura couldn't quite screw it up.

crazy as it sounds, for early june, this was a big win. Keeps the momentum going (this team is mentally fragile it seems so that should help) and helps bury KC some more.

 

 

Meanwhile Junior Guerra lowered his ERA to 3.31. We're fine for starter depth though so it was definitely smart to put him on waivers.

Maybe even consider Anderson 2nd if he hits well, and shift anyone else down. I think Saladino back at 3B like in 2015 could work out, and that way you let Abreu DH. You also give Frazier a break from 3B, as he is also a decent 1B

DeAza was pretty good until his last season, season and a half.

 

His defense eroded, and that's what finally cost him his spot. He went from a passable CFer with "plus" offense or at least above average for that position to a corner outfielder with a little pop and something of a defensive liability.
