Predicting a Ventura no hitter

Must win.

QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 12, 2016 -> 09:27 AM)
Must win.

Agree, can't afford to lose another series to an AL Central opponent.

Yordano Ventura has the LEAST effective fastball in the major leagues this season.

Forward to Todd Steverson, por favor.

Last time against him they did just fine, until one out in the 9th inning.

Worth noting that the two most "infamous" bunts of this White Sox season have been when Jose Quintana was on the mound (the other was against the Mets). So at least we don't have to worry about that contributing negatively today.

Eaton CF, Abreu 1B, Cabrera DH, Frazier 3B, Lawrie 2B, Avila C, Garcia RF, Shuck LF, Anderson SS

Merrifield Escobar Hosmer Cain Morales Perez Orlando Cuthbert Colon

Imagine what would happen if Frazier went out of our line-up?

We'd have Carlos Sanchez or Saladino there.

The Royals are actually getting better defense from Cuthbert than Moustakas, and he's at least holding his own offensively for a rookie.

Out of Shuck, Garcia and Coats, which two will we get stuck with today?

Btw, hope Avila at least gets another start to see if he can get a hot streak going offensively.

Poor Coats...in some ways, it feels like he's not going to get much of a chance to prove himself.

15-20 at-bats, the way things are going.

To be fair to Robin, Coats looks very over matched in most of his at bats so far.

100 more of these things. I'm sure they'll go 60-40 for 91 wins...

He's had a whole 10 plate appearances and still gotten on 3 times.

Better wear some heavy armor with Ventura out there

Funny, when Avila does that, he is washed up.

You know you don't have to be Dick all the time.

I don't mind Avila

Trolling ain't easy.

Avila needs to stop letting so many good pitches go by...be a BIT more aggressive, like in his glory days of 2011-12 when he was an All-Star caliber catcher.

Ventura will probably have his best start of the season.

f*** Ventura ( which one :P) .He's a little piss ant who needs to be squashed .

Lead off double

.341 opposing line-ups the first time through the order 1-9 hitting against Rodon.

The craziest one, .464 hitting against his first pitch...mostly fastballs at lower velocities.

Edited by caulfield12

Typical. Another 2 out hit for the Royals in a run scoring situation.

SOS against KC

Of course.

Like clockwork.
