Looking at the replay of Frazier's homer, that is almost exactly where he hit #20 last night.

Hopefully they keep someone ready in the pen and have a quick hook if Q starts to struggle again.

Todd's average sucks but he sure can hit some bombs.

Time to tie this game up. Rodriguez hasn't gone longer than 6 1/3 yet.

Yes sir.

Vintage Q. Such a disappointing start for him

What is with this display by Hanley?

No team gives runs back as fast as the Sox over and over.

Good lord, Quintana...

Seems he struggles so much in the 6-7 innings during his career. Great pitcher but definitely lacks a killer instinct

Eh, Quintana is human

Q with a shoddy start, it happens, he'll be back to 1ER and 0 run support before you know it.

I can't believe that got out....

Short-lived tie game.

We must lead MLB in runs surrendered the inning after scoring run/s and also RISP stranded when the scoring threat arises with 0 or 1 outs.

Also, runs given up with 2 outs by our pitchers.

6th inning has always been a issue with Q

3.72 ERA in the 6th. 2.79 in the 7th.

Actually it is the 5th.

But he has company. The hardest part of the game for Mickey Mantle was the bottom of the fifth.

Is that this season or career

Career

Career

Thanks for finding. So 6th a little above career and 7th well below

That's probably the worst thing you can say about Quintana.

Those games where he's cruising in innings 1-4 and gives up a crooked number in the 5th...also slowing down so much with RISP that he bores the hell out of the defense and viewers, but that's a function of being under so much pressure with the offense giving him so little run support he has a razor thin margin of error.

Come on Albers

Tough luck.sucks
