It wouldn't make Shields look bad, it would leave his line relatively clean. What would make him look bad is letting him go through the lineup again until he gives up a couple more hits, then having a reliever give up the inherited runners.

 

As soon as it flipped to the front of the order, they went 2-for-3 against him and scored a run. I don't care about his pitch count. Get him out.

I agree. Let him leave on a positive note and build on it for next time.

Somehow in terms of offensive WAR Avi has gotten worse than every other year
