To be fair, the iceberg was mostly hidden. We've been staring 40-50 wins down all offseason.

When I do an OOTP fantasy draft I do a complete tank. At best I'll grab like two or three MLB starting caliber player in the first 10 rounds. The rest will all be top 50 type prospects until I let the CPU take over around round 40 or AAAA guys that will be on a league min deal. Those teams usually win around 40-60 games still. Congrats Sox, you have replicated my OOTP strategy IRL on accident, in a year you can't get the #1 pick, and unlike me you're not gonna spend 20 million in the international period either cause you're too stupid to put the payroll savings into future cheap teams.

I think I first heard about the site referred to as "the other site" (or similar) on WSI, where I was a lurker but didn't really feel in tune with the place (I was 20-21 at the time and WSI was mostly middle aged and older types) so did some googling and registered here. It's cool that I got on right at the start of the title year. Not so cool I'm now an old middle aged type.

Kenny did a good job overall. He was also allowed to spend on contract in a way his followers have and will not be. It was a fun time to be a Sox fan growing up. Ever since I turned 30 it's been putrid and that was a decade ago now.

I said the same fucking thing yesterday. FOR TWO YEARS ELOY HAS SEEN GARBAGE AWAY TO START ABs! He's almost always down in the count because of it. I actually worked out drunk AF last night. It was wild, never really tried it funnily enough. I was so sloppy on my dumb bell flies looked like a total noob I'm sure. It was fun tho once i got going, was jamming to my music and ripping off zercher squats at the end.

In his age 38 season a similar player in Konerko only managed an OPS+ of 56. Sometimes the bottom just falls out these guys, especially without PEDs. Jose is probably a bit older than his listed age imo, nothing against him, I've just always figured that based on his career in Cuba. He was stupidly good for his listed age.

I'm a little older and when I do some sprints, do a workout and then drink a few beers I'm on the shelf for 3 days. It stinks. We were all 27 once in baseball years but time waits for no man.
