Seriously, shut up. Take a step back, and think about what you just said. You can be disappointed in that inning, but we're talking about the best 3-4-5 our organization has ever seen, and two of those guys carried us to the WS last year.

true. even in dark moments like this one. true.

Probably. I remember Papi striking out against Shingo with the bases loaded and one out, down 2 against the Sox a few years ago. It's too bad the Red Sox didn't release him after that.

We can't blame this one on the offense.

When you have to bail out your pitching EVERY SINGLE GAME, you're going to fail once in a while. The pressure on the offense to win games for our starters EVERYDAY must be extremely heavy.

To reiterate, the offense can't be expected to win EVERY GAME for us. The pitching has to contribute at some point this season.

f*** francona, he f***ed up when he let beckett face alex and pods, when lopez should have been in there. he has nothing to do with the fact we cant score a damn run.

Nope. Lopez can't face righties, everyone knows that. Also, Ozuna would have hit for Pods then. He played that inning to avoid Thome doing damage, and it worked perfectly.

Good post. Could you imagine last year's offense with this year's pitching? We'd be right there with the Cubs.

Christ guys it's f***in baseball, sometimes s*** goes your way sometimes it doesn't...and yes our 3 4 5 hitters just douched us over but my god they're only human just relax and appreciate the monster numbers they have put up for us thus far, hell if not for JD that bases loaded nobody out bottom of the 7th would've been damn near meaningless...the starting pitching let us down once again along with the bullpen, it just isn't our day damnit :(

Well we CAN blame the offense, but you are right. The last two days when the pitchers needed a good inning they've failed miserably. These guys can't get a third out without something bad happening.
