In Our effort to keep this list up to date we'd appreciate your help. If you know of a band that is Gay or propogating a Gay message please email us so we can update. Donnie is handling this his email is: donniedavies@gmail.com

The response is overwhelming. You guys know of a lot more Gay Bands than I do. I can't keep up. Hopefully soon we'll have it so you can add them by yourself.

It is regrettable that the average citizen has allowed themselves to fall into such a state of sleepy ignorance that they must rely on the government for protection from "threatening information". Still, at least Google has a standard where MySpace has none. MySpace removed our videos and our account without any warning and without explanation. Now, I suppose they are a private business but it makes you wonder how someone can get their message out to the world if the only web site they have is a MySpace page. How many of you does that describe? Tell me about it at donniedavies@gmail.com, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

God Hates F***

Safe Bands:

  • The Right Brothers (a roaring lamb!)
  • Dresden Dolls
  • UnderOath
  • Cyndi Lauper
  • Falling Up
  • Flyleaf
  • THE TURNING
  • Disciple
  • P.O.D
  • Evanescence
  • By The Tree
  • Scott Reed
  • Michael W. Smith
  • Jars of Clay
  • DC Talk
  • Danielson
How the hell does Cyndi Lauper get on any list?? OK, I do enjoy Jars of Clay and Flood is one of my top 25 Rock tunes. But, I'm taking my chances and hoping the Gay Cooties don't infect me through my speakers.

Watch the guy's music video. It's clearly satire, and fuggin' hilarious at that. The 70's porn mustache, the pink shirt with white pants, the lyrics...

"Lord you are my strength, fill me with your love...

...To enter heaven, there is no back door"

Plus, you'll notice Cindy Lauper is listed as a safe band even though she's a big gay rights activist. Even better, Elton John is listed twice, the second time followed by "really gay".

i had to email them and say:

"you have missed a very bad offender of homosexual propagating music... a band called tool. they have a song for example called "hooker with a penis" or "stinkfist" - which is a metaphor for anal fisting. they even have used a phallic looking wrench as a logo before.... my 15 year old son was listening to them and i refused to allow it. the people of your website need to be aware."

Man.....i thought everyone knew that Lauper's hit "She-Bop" was about masterbation. I guess someone doesn't watch VH1's 'I Love the 80's!!!!'

Other surprise omissions: Diana Ross, Moby, Depeche Mode

Wowza. When did Oscar Wilde become a "reformed homosexual," I must have missed that. . .

Thank goodness Tori Amos is still okay. And Sinead O'Connor and most importantly: I can keep my Wham! songs. Whew. . .
