On the plus side - more Spotted Cow Ale.

Since they only sell New Glarus beers in Wisconsin, sometimes I make the 40 minute trip to Hudson to buy some. Tasty. Two Women Lager is also good.

Oh there is much more beer from them than Spotted Cow. Gotta get me some Raspberry Tart. I'm actually really excite about the move...except for the not having a job thing.

One of the few things I really dislike about my job, it's that time of year when many of my students transfer out to go to schools "up north" for the agriculture season. I know at 14 and 15 years old that many will be needed to help support the family by working and will not be enrolled in Michigan, Indiana, Minnesota, schools. Instead they will be back in school when the calendar reads late October or early November.

I also know the reception they receive when they get to those towns. Some good and some not so good. By now I know them fairly well as damn good kids like the one that just left my classroom with her transfer paper in hand.

Naperville man eager ‘to go have sex’ charged with driving 111 mph

A man pulled over by Naperville police for going 111 mph in a 45 mph zone told the officer he was in a hurry because he was “trying to go have sex with a girl he liked,” police said.

But the only date 21-year-old Zachary P. Ramirez got out of the whole experience was one with a judge. He was charged with speeding 40 mph or more over the limit, reckless driving, disobeying a traffic control signal, disobeying a stop sign and possession of 2.5 grams or less of marijuana — for the small amount of pot cops found in his car.
