  1. Did anyone share if there's a "jump to last unread post" button like they used to have? I'm exclusively on the phone. I can't seem to find that since the update and it really impacts my Soxtalk consumption; I want to pick up where I left off in a thread, not just go to the most recent post and have to arrow backwards. But I'm also an idiot and I'm probably just missing it.
  2. Yeah let me stop you right there, I've seen enough.
  3. He's afraid of us 💪, too embarrassed that he left a winner
  4. I have no stats to back this to and they may not even have the same player profile, but I've always thought Sosa was destined to be the latest Eduardo Escobar. A player the Sox don't know that to do with, move on from too early, and then goes on to have a productive career for a few other teams. I guess now we get to see what happens.
  5. I was at Dick's in the west suburbs last week and popped in looking for Sox gear. I saw two full sections of cubs, full wall of Blackhawks, all of the Bears and Bulls stuff... and three women's shirts for Sox. I asked a kid that worked there where the Sox section was and he just shrugged and said there was no Sox section. They genuinely had more German national soccer team gear than White Sox gear. We're losing (or already lost) the next generation of fans. We need a reason to be in the stores, and for people to see the brand and support the team. Getting this stadium right is key.
  6. Or this is what knocked the Red Sox's ask down from Leasure to accept Ziehl.
  7. Conforto's camp have got to be sweating, running out of options
  8. And with Robert now gone, may I introduce the 2026 White Sox!
  9. I can't imagine the Yankees are even contemplating Robert. Bellinger is their target, the talks are at a stalemate after the weekend, and these other names are being bandied about as leverage. This is just posturing, in my opinion.
  10. Don't worry, he's loading up a post to name at least 20+ current players we should target in FA or trades.
  11. I get that in principle but I feel like that only works when it's a report about an interesting team. If even we don't believe it as delusional fans, what rational opposing team owner is going to feel threatened by this report?
  12. Agreed, I view this round of FA as an investment to earn a better perception around the league for when we actually need FAs to sign here in a couple of years. I'd rather get rid of that "ew, I don't want to sign there" stink on some B+ free agents so we aren't out of the running on the better FAs in the (hopefully) near future.
  13. If I recall, the broadcast seemed like some random old baseball players that just needed a job haha
  14. Oh man, this reminds me of the Covid delay and waking up at 5am to watch the KBO to scratch the baseball itch. Saladino and Palka representing on Samsung, woop woop
