Well they are going to host a playoff game. Pretty amazing. They haven't won a home playoff game since 2010, maybe they can end that this year. Okamoto does have experience playing OF as well. I’m not sure what the quality of his defense is there, but that is probably the best spot for him on this team. I don’t think they will sign him anyway though, I’m guessing he will be a a Pirate.

His xwOBA was .322 last year which is slightly above league average. Not sure how anyone would call that BAD for a CF.

Not reasonable at all considering his last two full seasons, healthy or not. His most recent two seasons of 856 plate appearances have been BAD.

I know we’re Sox fans but that would be pretty damn embarrassing. Imagine going from Schwarber to Luis Robert to settling for a Myers/Bleday platoon. Robert was a way better player than Bleday last year.

Robert slashed .298/.352/.456 in the second half across 125 plate appearances. Seems totally reasonable to expect that next season (if he’s healthy).

Okamoto would be great if they have trades lined up with Vargas/Sosa for pitching. I’m not counting on it though.

We should sign him too. tbh I’d take YoYo back. He’s probably better than Vargas.
