I wish they wouldn’t have run into an out at second with Braden getting caught stealing and also wish they would have pinch ran Acuna for Grich with Peters laying down a bunt. Manufacturing runs and cashing in with RISP and less than two outs have been this teams weakness on the offensive side. Once they crack the code on those issues, this team will immediately become much much more dangerous. It is my number one gripe with them along with their need for stronger starting pitching and production from their catchers. I also wonder what our record would be this year if both Mune and Teel had been healthy all season.

It's pretty easy to see how the Rays outperform their run differential. They don't give up leads late in the game.

Yea, on paper we had no business winning this game. In the box score it’ll show it was closer than it “should have been”. In reality - we could have won this game if just a couple of key things went a different way. This game was THE definition of “a game of inches.”
