Was at the game last night and Burke had nothing. I was very surprised he did not give up 5 or more runs. Sean N is amazing...........that guy has saved the Sox starters all year long. It was good to see we did not burn the pen last night and they should be fresh for Minny. Although Hudson got up and warmd up on 3 different occasions. We need our starters to get this shitty streak out of their system and MAN UP. It's crunch time! ALSO, f*** the Guardians!!!!

Haugh and Payton are both Cub fans, and they have a producer that is annoying Cub water boy. It's going to be Cubs & Bears 24/7. If the Bears move to Hammond, Haugh will be cheering for his home state of Indiana and Payton will be in the McCaskey's corner.

Once again, the Sox OPS vs Left is .742, 108 OPS+, 7th in MLB. What is adding a 35-year-old DH who is .668 vs Left going to do? Is he going to play over Grichuk? Who gets bumped off the roster? Kinda fucked up for the Reds to waive him though. It was supposed to be this heartwarming homecoming.

I remember really early in the season on one of the podcasts and Peters was mentioned. It was basically who was he and where he came from, basic 101 stuff. He was described as a 26yrs old, plus fielder with good speed but no bat, not enough MLB experience to evaluate. I look at Doyle, 28 yrs old, 2 GG, great speed, with a previous season 3.9 WAR. I think the risk/reward is worth working on getting his bat back on track. At the very worse you have a stud OF late inning defensive replacement.

2 weeks ago he was on a tear. Definitely a slump. Think he's tired and the exhaustion of an MLB season is getting to him. Needs a day off.

I'm not sure this belongs in this thread, but I got to get it off my chest. ..........How long can our Sox keep Mune in the second spot? He has become a liability overall. For his own good and ours something has to change there. A couple of days off? DH more? Bat him in front of Peters at about 6th in the batting order. To just keep letting him whiff with men in base is not working. This is a pennant race. It's all about winning games now.
