The Sox are going to have to play like they want this . what's happening in Cleveland is a bit concerning . two walk-offs in a double header is pretty unusual . that's a hot team playing a weak team, but also living on luck as much as talent . hopefully they will cool off and come back to earth soon . no question in my mind who the better team is . WestEddy was arguing with me in the first few weeks of the 2024 season that I was being insufficiently positive. Enough said.

Fedde has a 1.04 ERA in 5 starts vs. MIN as a Sox (2024 and 2026). 26 IP, 3 ER, 24 Ks to 7 BB, and a 4-0 record. He's held them to a .416 OPS this season. Solid 3.00 ERA overall since June, that's some quality innings for a value price.

Pirates and Cardinals are no slouches. They play in a division with two really good teams, Cards just beat the Dodgers twice on the road and getting a few guys back from injury, Pirates have a pretty good offense and decent starting pitching. Both would probably be in first if in the AL Central
