Difference with Cunningham is she's totally leaned into the right wing grift. Clark just plays ball. Unless you call being friends with Taylor Swift and generically supporting "we vote/get out the vote efforts," which shouldn't be inherently partisan in a democracy.

This is fair. We tread lightly and walk the line of being too critical due to these guys being non big leaguers. How many times have the Sox taken advantage of fans the last 15 years or so just to sell a few more concessions items instead of proactively informing everyone in a timely manner...on rain delays, game cancellations, no shows, etc.? Hopefully that goes away with Ishbia.

They did take on the whole contract. Are you saying that they could've kept Boston Smith if they also kept Dominguez? I don't agree if so.

What do you think the purpose was of Venable coming out of the dugout? He doesn’t make mound visits unless he’s changing pitchers. That’s what makes the whole thing so weird.

It was probably a mistake. Not unreasonable that Venable pulled a masterclass on this, but I doubt it. I'm less worried about the gaffe and more worried about Schultz turning into a decent starter though.
