  2. SWEEP THE CENTRAL!!! That is all that matters right now.
  3. Jerry hooked Tristian up with a ring to commentate him hitting for the cycle:
  4. You don't know anything about the issues. Pure vengeance.
  5. Buddy and I talk baseball a couple times a week on lunch break, without fail for the last two months when he asks me how the sox are doing I just go "win 2, lose 3, win 1" or some variation on that. Hopefully.
  6. Amazing how proper usage and asking guys to do what they can do as role players helps performance. That said, credit to both guys as individuals. Especially Beni, who could have just nailed it in these last two years. He stayed ready and it sure looks better for us fans (and I'm sure feels better for his body) with him as a platoon DH instead of an every day left fielder.
  7. oh well, rest up.
  8. Curious to see if either guy gets some AFL reps after resting up a bit
  9. For those unfamiliar with the “James Shields World Serious Fernando Tatis Ain’t s%*#” guy…
  10. Since June 28: 2.89 ERA (4th in MLB) 1.18 WHIP (6th in MLB) 217 Ks (T-most in MLB) 15 W (T-most in MLB) 3.54 FIP (4th in MLB) Since July 28, they have an even better 2.79 ERA (3rd in MLB). The biggest help to the pen will be having the starters stabilize enough to keep the workload manageable (and getting to expanded rosters)
  11. Ishbia isn’t the controlling owner you fucking lunatic.
  12. Today

  13. James Shields guy is legend. That rat was akin to scum. 😆
  14. The next evolution will this team will be youngsters taking the next step at the plate, blue chippers giving us even greater improvement, and most importantly - solidifying the starting rotation via trades and unprecedented free agency spending. DONT f*** THIS UP JERRY!
  15. I don’t know, he has some “JAMES SHIELDS” guy charm.
  16. "Sound Off On Sports" with Pat Sheridan after the game on WMAQ.
  17. Merkin Twitter, also Fegan
  18. Those were fun days. I remember getting through to the score the night we clinched 2005 WS game 4. 😆
  19. This mongoloid truly needs to shut the f*** up.
  20. "We didn't have radio to call into back in my day. We yelled out the window over the hanging wash at our neighbors. "
  21. Some of us were old enough to remember Let's Talk Baseball With Jimmy Piersal.
  22. I think it is financial. It's the younger and cheaper model. Who will be next in the budget cut?
  23. Billy probably has staph and they don’t want it spreading.
  24. It’s a shame. The drunk angry old Sox fans were especially hilarious.
  25. We can remember when there was no internet, meaning no forums, or everyone has to hear our opinion on "social" media or youtube. Then people forget there is such a thing as sarcasm online. One thing that seems to be gone is fans calling in on radio for the postgame.
  26. I was nervous we wouldn’t be able to recreate what Tauchmann did last year, and Grichuk just fell into our laps. He’s been amazing.
