  1. Past hour
  2. Actually, the trades that give them the pool money normally occur after most have actually signed. It does appear since Marco Paddy is now the reason the international signings suck, that it took Chris Getz, whose job was to develop these guys, so you would think he would know, 2 extra years to figure it out.
  3. White Sox and signing dudes I've never heard of. The more things change, the more they stay exactly the same...
  4. Once Reinsdorf got the system in place he wanted, the Sox became draft pool monsters. Before that, there was a short period they had real trouble coming to terms with high draft picks.
  5. Bellinger is still a productive player, no? Meaning he would never sign here unless the offer blew every other out of the water? And we know who still owns the team, so we know that isn't the case.
  6. Why do teams need more money if it's already decided years before? If a 12 year old kid develops way beyond where everyone thought he'd be at 16, he might just decide he wants more money.
  7. Yeah it’s not like you get infinite challenges (well, I guess you do if you’re right every time but still)
  8. The stuff I've read is that the system isn't going to be overused lest a team run themselves out of appeals early in the game. If a catcher could keep the calls that are too near the zone to safely dispute, that still has value.
  9. Why is it, if everything has already been determined for years and there is no one worth any spare money teams like the White Sox always have, that other teams, who do spend their money are willing to pay White Sox contracts in exchange for more pool money ? Im glad they have changed things. But they supposedly changed things when they brought in Paddy and everyone spoke of him like they do Bannister, Fuller etc. now.
  10. Before draft slot era, thier draft spending could be questioned, but not since. There are plenty of areas they deserve citicism, but spending thier draft allowance isn't one.
  11. Carlson can’t play second? Or maybe they just keep Meidroth and trade Carlson.
  12. Coen Vrabel or Johnson for CoY? Harbaugh on the outside looking in...
  13. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2025/12/red-sox-yankees-orioles-finalists-for-michael-king.html All the talent continues to flow to the AL EAST.
  14. In the effort to spin everything, this was an all time great
  15. He's ranked 61st overall in the class. Performance and asking price will play a large part of it, but I would hazard anywhere from the late 1st to 3rd round?
  16. Today
  17. No confidence in him. The sack was huge there.
  18. Let’s have that breakout offensive game just for funsies
