I grew up with Jack Drees and Billy Pierce in the tv booth. The Sox went 56-106 and Billy had a lisp. Bring on any announcer, it will be fine.

Historical note: A picture of "Southside Park" from 1907 shows that beautiful red brick/limestome building at IIT a few blocks to the NE. IIT sold it to a developer several years ago so not sure if he will take it down, leave it abandoned and vacant, or convert it into residential. It appears that he doesn't have the financial resources to rehab it since nothing has happened there for several years and it would take a lot of money to undertake a large project like that.

He’s going to be amped up and will be doing everything he can to throw a complete game shutout. Dude is our hidden weapon. He’s also been looking great lately. Burkey is also looking nasty as of late and has been our most dependable starter across the season as a whole. Him going second puts him on normal rest. Davis is going to be PISSED that his last start went off the rails and cost the team the two seed.
