  1. Past hour
  2. That’s the Orioles #10, #11, and #30 prospects according to MLB Pipeline, and I’m sure the Rays chose wisely as usual.
  3. Wish we had some pitching to sell. What could Davis Martin bring back?
  4. They had an agreement fall through apparently.

  6. The politicians respond: https://chicago.suntimes.com/bears-stadium/2025/12/18/chicago-bears-indiana-stadium-illinois-legislation And so do the media: https://chicago.suntimes.com/bears/2025/12/18/bears-stadium-arlington-heights-indiana-kevin-warrens-gambit-wrong-time-packers-real-football-nfl https://www.chicagotribune.com/2025/12/18/chicago-bears-stadium-indiana-mccaskeys/
  7. It feels like it is happening more often, and the Sox did benefit from it in the past.
  8. Yeah they are pretty cheap though. O’Hearn might be more in the budget on a 2-year deal.
  9. I find it hard to believe they could afford Murakami at a $20M+ AAV after spending $11.5M on Lowe. They’d be approaching in salary after being at $85M last year.
  10. Lowe to Pitt would actually make me think Pirates are MORE of a suitor for Murakami and OHearn. Because they are taking on a one year contract there (instead of more youth stuff) so there has to be a point to 2026 win-now then..
  11. Today
  12. For those wondering what trade https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2025/12/astros-pirates-rays-discussing-three-team-trade-potentially-sending-brandon-lowe-to-pittsburgh-mike-burrows-to-houston.html
  13. And Robert with an OF going to PIT. Idk how it really effects Murakami unless you mean they won’t add more payroll.
  14. I endorse the White Sox returning to the 90s.
  15. F Jerry. I care about my favorite team trying to win games. In some way shape or form, most of us are good human beings and do right by others. Jerry was/is in a situation where he could take the financial responsibility of owning a team. There is a bigger responsibility when you own a Major League sports team, that responsibility is to the people who come watch your product, buy materials related to your product. They are investing in your product and helping you make money. He has not reciprocated that responsibility and for the most part SHAAT on those people. SO again, F JERRY
  16. If Lowe goes to the Pirates in this huge trade, it could be one less suitor for Murakami
  17. Let’s hope so because if any club would have meaningful dollars laying around, it’s probably the White Sox.
  18. I don't doubt for a minute the JR is a very good human being. I also believe he was a good owner up until the last two decades. Those of us who are old enough to remember when the Sox had to play fireworks noise over the PA after a home run, because they couldn't afford fireworks, or when every single free agent was guaranteed to leave, or when we hired a player manager to save a salary, or the constant threats of moving to Milwaukee, Seattle, or wherever, should recognize that JR took a franchise constantly on the brink of bankruptcy and solidified it financially. He was also aggressive about signing top free agents (Fisk, Bannister as examples) and seemed committed to at least attempting to win. The Sox were, at one time consistently competitive. Not sure what caused the change in the last couple of decades. Complacency with a WS trophy? Financial issues? Complacency with old age?
  19. You keep bringing up soil. What exactly are you trying to say then by bringing it up, if you point isn't that it can't be built on? Obviously I am leaving out the race based stuff you keep throwing out there, and sticking to things that are apt here.
  20. It is impossible to hold a sensible conversation with you because it appears that you are too anxious to argue than to discuss. Further, your points are predicated on half-truths which can be a deceptive form of argument. In short, you state facts to support your position (that anything can be built on any soil) but that has NOTHING to do with the points I made in my post. Anyway, I do not want to argue with you on this and accept your points so let's leave it at that.
  21. I, too, don’t care about pushing 2 of Davis Martin, Sean Burke, Jonathan Cannon out of rotation. The innings will be there anyway since there will be injuries, trades of said veteran starters if they’re decent, etc.
