  1. Past hour

  2. That would be crazy if it came down to that.
  3. "As for the current direction of this team, initially many had expected that this team couldn’t compete until 2028 at the earliest given the historically bad 2024 team. Twelve months later, with the arrival of Colson, Teel, and Quero, supplemented by a couple of solid, if unspectacular young bats, in Vargas, Sosa, and Baldwin, and hitting a homerun with the Rule 5 pick of Smith, and top prospects poised for getting the call, Sox looks like they have a chance to compete by 2027." Right, but wrong on Quero Sosa Baldwin Shane Smith...but that was the common sentiment, with most others doubting JR would spend bigly in FA until the 2027-28 cycle because of the I'm pending lookout and unknown CBA landscape Completely forgot Baldwin too will be fighting Braden, Acuna and Doyle for playing time
  4. https://www.fangraphs.com/standings/playoff-odds/fg/mlb Guardians at 94.5% Sox just below 90% Astros below 50% now
  5. 6 for playoffs. Jorge Orta
  6. tmrw Perkins vs. Gavin Williams*** M.Perez vs. Hunter Brown*** Melton vs. Davis Martin TBD vs. deGrom***
  7. I would love another Atlanta win tomorrow
  8. The irony is this is the schtick you pull anytime people even think about criticizing Chris Getz. You have this type of nutter meltdown where you mock them, scream in hysterics, make up something no one ever said, move the goalposts and declare victory. You are what you hate.
  9. Need @Lip Man 1 to find a #6 because I can't think of this off the top of my head. Either way, this is exciting. Astros look cooked.
  10. Texas A&M Bama defense Oklahoma Auburn LSU so far disappointing MissState UF and KY turning the corner? Deion getting smoked at NW
  11. Ishbia Family got some relief on this day 31-28 lead seconds remaining, only needed to fall down in end zone and try to burn as much clock as possible simultaneously In the spirit of Tuesday Wed Fri Sox games
  12. I’m not talking about the Sox. I’m talking about what some fans wanted to do. I actually have hope for this regime.
  13. Today

  14. Trading Bonemer Schultz Hagen Carlson ... they didn't come close to doing that. Cholowsky, remember is supposed to be their franchise-defining SS.
  15. Magic # - Tragic # Cle 8-7 Hou 6-9 Tex 6-9 Tor 4-11 Bal 4-11
  16. If we are going right back to being the same franchise we always were, therefore we should go all in and feed all the fuel into the furnace for one good burn, then what would be the point anyway even if it worked. We would then still be losers. I don’t want to be a fan a team like that. Hell, we won in 2005 and it was meaningless to the White Sox nation for decades. We wanted to sell the team and made fun of it. I want a chance to be better for a long time, and thats done by deploying assets in a thoughtful way. I can’t be interested in a team thats only playing for 2026. I would not be coming back
  17. We also seemingly have deGrom's number this year. Especially Antonacci.
  18. My bad you’re right. 5-2 still needs to be the goal
  19. Dome baseball sucks though...but feel the chances are much higher with Tex than beating Houston 2/3 all on the road
  20. Yeah I'd much rather play the Rangers than the Astros if we end up as the last wild card.
  21. 38-28 against .500+ teams before tonight Astros and Tigers two best teams on paper
  22. Classic bogey teams. If we win tomorrow and go 3 up on the Astros, I think it's close to over. And I do think we match up well with the rangers.
  23. Dobnik former Twins RHP/swingman no Wacha is the biggest break there Noah Coleman their second best starter...couldn't ask for much more
  24. Geez. Did Houston just dominate the central?
  25. I just looked this up... Mariners are 9-2 against the Astros. A's are 5-4.
  26. Astros got the tying run up in the 8th.
  27. We have 6 against those teams. Still have 1 left against Detroit.
