  2. Agreed. His podcast is really good. I only have time for unfiltered but need to look deeper into the library at 312.
  3. I don't want to hear a word when people celebrate their eventual departures too.
  4. Awful AnnouncingChicago sports radio personalities not sad to see John Sc...In the wake of the news that the Chicago White Sox are moving on from play-by-play voice John Schiffren, the sports radio scene didn't seem to mind.
  5. Good point. There's also different experiences for fans who go 10x a year vs those who go only once year or maybe once every couple of years. For me, the first out of town ballparks I visited 20 to 30 years ago, it was more about saying I saw a game there while I was in town. Now when I go, I try to get there early to check out what's around the ballpark, check out the concourses, check out the food offerings, etc.
  6. Today

  7. A random Twitterer literally rope-a-doped him into career suicide.
  8. I am a true believer in Davis Martin and feel his early 2026 was not a fluke. If healthy I believe his ceiling is higher than most want to give him credit for. His K-BB% was an absurd 27% in May and learning about his lingering calf injury you have to think that had a large play in his declining peripherals. His April was fantastic as well. I am not expecting him to replicate his April-May numbers for a full season, but this is a SP that you throw back out there in 2027 to see what you have. He is a lock in my eyes and I expect him to be a staple in the rotation as long as hes able to stave off nagging injuries.
  9. It was truly the most ridiculous way for him to get fired
  10. This made JR shoot coffee out his nose this morning.
  11. I used to love the old B&B days but then Bernstein started going on more political rants than talking sports and also started attacking his listeners. The way he was finally fired from The Score is so ridiculous it’s tough to even believe. He deserves to be where he is now.
  12. Ald. Dowell promised to use that local veto to block the Sox from moving to the 78. Now, the plan is for them to move just across the river in a different ward.
  13. The ballpark experience in Tampa is dirt cheap in general for sure.
  14. The best part was his rep had it read into the permanent record of the house. These days it would end up in the trash.
  15. Team don’t care
  16. Can anyone give me the rundown on what the hell happened to Oppor this season? How did he go from his 2025 to what we saw in 2026?
  17. Makes sense on paper but realistically: no
  18. I think it's because tickets for a WS game were easier to come by in St. Pete than in Milwaukee for Brewers fans. The price of a flight to Tampa is nothing compared to what game tickets are going for on the secondary market. Same was the case for Sox fans in Cleveland for the ALDS.
  19. Does Skubal have any relatives we need to sign? No way JR is ponying up the money needed to sign Skubal.
  20. I honestly know nothing about Milwaukee, it was just a chance to take a cheap shot at Wisconsin
  21. Its honestly activating my conspiracy theory brain that we are defunding education in so many states, plus the actions of the federal government here, at the same time we are essentially stopping immigration. I think they are telling us they want our kids to take these jobs over.
  22. Outskirts of Milwaukee are all pretty nice. City itself is seeing some pockets but it is a weird little town. Brewers pen management going to MeGill then pulling him so quickly was odd. Ashby is as unhittable a pitcher as you will see currently. That was a miss step by the Brewers but they could certainly afford it. Outside of Pratt the Brewer offense was bad.
  23. Once parents start telling their kids to skip college and move mulch 10 hours a day for $12 an hour or wash dishes for $11 we will stop have people risking their lives to get here to do those jobs.
  24. 1) I couldn't help but notice how loud the Brewer fans were. It sounded like they had more fans than the Rays. I wonder what % of fans were Brewer fans last night . 2) MLB use to make a annual World Series film which was sold on DVD. I have the World Series DVDs from 1943-2022. They stopped making the films after 2022. Wonder why they stopped producing them. Maybe not enough people were buying them but still I would think they would make them available to the fans who want them.
  25. I love the host’s story that as a 9 year old in 1988, he went around and collected signatures on a petition to keep the Sox from moving and he presented those signatures to his state rep!
  26. Yet you still can't figure out that tray is playing you like a fiddle
