New England looked very beatable in that first half

here we go boys and girls
-
My first childhood baseball idol. That is really sad.

One of the best and a part of three noteworthy White Sox teams. The 1967, 1972 and 1977 groups. A record setting relief pitcher before he became a record setting starter. Had the chance to interview him in 2005. Very nice guy. https://www.chicagotribune.com/2026/01/18/wilbur-wood-chicago-white-sox-obit/

Let’s go bears!!! 🐻

And both are a lot 'baseball-smarter' than Sosa. That's for sure.
-
Meidroth also plays smart baseball, whereas Madrigal plays ….baseball?
-
Too bad we couldn’t combine the 2: Chenyn Sodroth
-
Miller is still only 26 and a former 1st round pick. He'll be a little harder to acquire just based on the pedigree, but I wouldn't be opposed to the Sox giving him a look. Putting him in the BP alongside Taylor could be electric.

You are completely ignoring walks and OBP, which is another big edge for Chase over Sosa. I also think the Madrigal comp is a very poor one. Nick was tiny while Meidroth is fairly average height (neither offer much power). Meidroth is also one of the most selective hitters in baseball and Nick was one of the most aggressive.
-
Kim was their starting SS, so I don’t imagine Sosa is of much interest.
-
IMO, Sosa is probably going to hit about 20 more HR than Meidroth and should hit for a higher BA. I might be wrong but that is my opinion from watching the WSox last year, If it was up to me, I'd take the extra 20HR and live with a few more errors. A lot of teams put a premium on HRs , likely because HRs win a lot of games. To me, Meidroth is Madrigal 2.0, not a mighty mite like Pedroia, and for being a small player, he did not prove to be a very good base runner. Shriff loved the guy but I didn't, maybe because of the Madrigal experience.
-
Can we push Sosa on them?
-
Nvm Stroud is ass today lol
-
So glad to see Stroud playing like this. Cocky ass thinks he's way better than he is. Still never forgot him trying to "big brother" Caleb after that game against them last year.
-
Man it's been a tough stretch for Atlanta of late.
-
Remember when Bears fans were pissed about Stroud?
-
He keeps saying it
-
Either one of these teams will likely beat the Broncos next week anyways without Nix (unless the Broncos defense scores quite a bit of points off turnovers). This game is likely for the Super Bowl.
-
As waiver claims, sure. Miller, in particular, has been really bad the past 2 seasons. Dodgers can’t possibly expect anything more than some org. guys for either.
-
CJ Stroud said "intercept my beer"
-
how long do they allow stroud to keep making these massive mistakes
-
I did remember that correctly then
-
He grew up a big Mark Buehrle fan and wore 56 when he first came up for that reason.
