It’s not like this was not plan. Clearly they have been preparing for this move for the past month. These boys are not going to be in high leverage situations at least right away. They are replacing dudes like Murphy who have not got any guys out in the last month. Our high leverage boys have been great all year.

If an outfielder doesn’t know how many outs there are, tosses the ball to a fan with two outs and a runner scores, do you expect that outfielder to get benched for the rest of the game? If you make an inexcusable mistake at work, are there are always zero repercussions?

Agreed, Hank, but I'm a little concerned that the big 3 are kind of "hunting" homers too much, and I'd much rather see them "keep the line moving" with a nice succession of singles and gap shots.
