I was camping this weekend but on Friday night got the score and got a little nervous we’d be like the 03 royals, who started hot out of nowhere and then faded in August to 3rd place to the Sox and twins. The sad part (for them) was how it turned out to be a flash in the pan season for the surprise players like angel berroa. But then the we won the next two games like we always do. I kinda hate the “we can play like s%*# and the other team has to play well!” Stuff. 25-19 isn’t like hard for a team to do. Team just has to keep finding pitching and hit like they can. They fight like hell, and no “crushing” or “humiliating” defeat ever sets them. Great, great team to watch

I think the decision just came down to reliability. It was either him or Grichuk and only one of those two seems to be hurt all the time. It’s too bad because I think Hays could be useful, but if you go with him and he gets hurt again you’re back to Junior Perez or something. I thought it was a nice signing, his body just didn’t cooperate.
