  1. Past hour
  2. Wouldn't be shocked if one of the next two games does get rained out. Supposed to be horrible storms over the weekend in Cleveland
  3. Today
  4. We heard all this same stuff in 1992 when the US hosted it and then still nobody cared until 30+ years later. It's a nice story for a couple months. There is nothing more boring than a soccer game in my opinion. The average soccer game scores like 3 goals in 90+ minutes. Imagine if basketball had no shot clock today and every team ran a 4 corners offense and took a shot every 10 minutes. That's soccer. It's popular amongst young kids because any uncoordinated kid who can run can be on the team and not look completely terrible, he can blend in. And then they get a participation trophy.
  5. But they knew this when they signed him. It made no sense to me at the time to sign this guy and make him your closer. I just figured this team was not going to be any good and they just didn't care and thought maybe they can turn him around and flip him.
  6. Hopefully on 7/4/26 we can add: Sox beat Cleveland to move back into a tie for first in the division and stop a long losing streak at The Jake.

  8. He has had an over 5 BB9 for the last two years, hopefully they can get that down.
  9. Home and road wins and losses come down to the pitching. The batting is for the most part is the same. The pitching on the road has + 2 era, attributed to hits, walks, and home runs increase.
  10. Brand new day! Let's get back out there and start reversing the fortunes of the last two days!
  11. Dominguez is going to be here. They need to keep running him out there and try and figure it out.
  12. We’d have to pay him his entire salary.
  13. Read the anti AI comment below the video. It's not sourced by any legit sports news agency. They couldn't have been any friendlier when the Dodgers were in town, likewise Ichiro's greetings in Seattle...
  14. you don't lose nine consecutive in CLE by accident...it's a mental block at this point
  15. nobody here said it, but there is that dreaded 5 letter word starting with C. It happened.
  16. 2 bad and frustrating loses. The ball that Montgomery booted was terrible. Had a slow Catcher running down the line, just field the damn ball. Lack of concentration in a big moment. We are going to get swept because this bullpen is shot. Cleveland really is not good but if you keep walking them then it doesn't matter. Any chance of winning today has to have a formula where Burke goes at least 6 and Taylor pitches only 9th. 7th and 8th?? Who the hell knows......actually I would let Hicks pitch, he is pretty fresh and has thrown the ball well. Just brutal losses
  17. MLB is going to automatically put 2 ghost runners on 1st & 2nd when Dominguez comes in to speed up the game.
  18. He is so wild he even fools the ump when he throws a strike. I was listening on the radio and Len and DJ both thought he would have likely struck out Rocchio had Teel challenged. Why did Teel not challenge in that huge situation?
  19. The playbook on Dominguez is pretty obvious, make him throw strikes.
  20. Does Colson Montgomery need to go back to Arizona for another reset? He is an automatic out lately. Usually a strikeout. Now his defense is going south too. Bad back? Reverting to the form he showed in most of minor league career? He's killing us right now.
  21. Breaking: Murakami's Disgraceful Act! Ohtani Refuses Apology as Ibata Confirms Quarterfinal Removal! Probably click bait, but I remember it.
  22. Victimized again by Suck Anthony Dominguez. Just dump this fool
  23. Arguably, at least Hagen Smith was expected to be a viable starter...if not McDougal later in the season. But the fact all the TJS pitchers weren't going to be ready until at least the second half certainly wasn't a surprise at all. Then you have the Shane Smith slide.
  24. Kinda hoping we get rained out tomorrow so the bullpen can rest. Split the doubleheader on Sunday and get our asses home
  25. He didn’t expect them to contend. Why spend heavily on a staff if you expect it to be a rebuilding year with moderate progression from last? This team was never intended to be in a race in July.
  26. Platoon him with Chase
