Getz will try to acquire him.

But they are good at development. They are not a habitual losing organization. Even Counsel was no loss.

He got that from Kenny

Hahn when as a asst. GM was sought by other organizations. His strength was contract negotiations.

by habit they do it anyway

How so? Seems like a really short sample size. He's no Theo. His greatest skill may be that JR listens to him.

It's interesting that the Guardians used all their non Williams and Messick starters today. Messick will be going on 3 days rest tomorrow against Rasmussen.

Maybe Ishbia will back out of the deal if the project doesn't go thru.

Morejon will get $11-13 million per year Mize’s numbers with SD aren’t all that much better than Castillo’s Fb definitely fell off in second half Bubic or Lauer much more realistic

To be fair both Hahn and KW had tons of offers until TLR came along.

Baker somehow got through the 9th with a 92 MPH fastball. He's gotta be one of the biggest regression candidates next season. I don't see how he has the stuff to keep getting the results he's getting.

Not trading key players is literally the easiest thing a GM can do at the trade deadline. It requires.... doing nothing.

Rays finally putting some offense together

Cash loves Seymour for some reason

What is Tampa doing leaving Seymour in? He's got nothing

You Can See Everything was amazing. I think you definitely need to know about Fielder's previous shows and a bit about Theranos to really appreciate some of it, but I don't think I've ever seen a documentary make me think and question so many things. Just an incredibly meta movie in almost every way possible.

umpires tried to give it back to CLE

There we go Rays!

cleve fall nighttime weather killed that one

One factoid today: October 18, 1969 - A little known studio musical group came out with an oddly named song. On this date it broke into the Billboard Top 100 chart and would eventually move all the way to #1. The group was called Steam. The song, “Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye.” Thanks to the efforts of Sox organist Nancy Faust it would become the song Sox fans used to ‘serenade’ pitchers being removed from games. Today you can hear it practically at every stadium in America but it started on the South Side! In April 2021 ESPN had a special short documentary on the history of the song and how through the efforts of Faust it became the fan base’s anthem and eventually spread as stated to other teams, leagues and sports.

Hey maybe they'll move to Nashville!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😄

Michael King or Casey Mize Kris Bubic Adrian Morejon as Newcomb replacement
