  1. Past hour

  2. There are REAL fans who followed her since her and Paige Bueckers were freshman...and then the rabid Indiana and MAGA crowd that's consistentky tried to hijack her in order to score political points, and are currently attempting to do the same with Cunningham.
  3. I was referring to this year. I would have said Castillo is good if talking about past years.
  4. was very decent...but not so much this year
  5. being a fan of Caitlin Clark is exactly the same thing as lynching a child. these people have worms in their brain.
  6. I figured they threw in Smith because Castillo is decent and Dominguez sucks.
  7. Bretton Woods speech incoming? Nixon and the gold standard? Fiat currencies? Trilateral Commission? Freemasons?
  8. Companies | Shore Capital PartnersShore Capital Partners is a private equity firm investing in the microcap healthcare, business services, and industrial sectors. They look to be pretty well diversified... What's that saying about not putting all your eggs in one basket? For individual investors, better never to have more than 10-15% of investments in any one stock, crypto, paintings, collectibles, farmland, real estate, etc.
  9. This is fair. We tread lightly and walk the line of being too critical due to these guys being non big leaguers. Their families all follow us and listen intently etc. I'm the managing editor of FutureSox. I love prospects or I wouldn't do this. I can't wait to trade prospects to win a title though. I got frustrated by my mentions and tweeted something snarky. I can be better about that.
  10. How many times have the Sox taken advantage of fans the last 15 years or so just to sell a few more concessions items instead of proactively informing everyone in a timely manner...on rain delays, game cancellations, no shows, etc.? Hopefully that goes away with Ishbia.
  11. This was stunning and brave of you. This controversy can be over, if the mods have the courage.
  12. They did take on the whole contract. Are you saying that they could've kept Boston Smith if they also kept Dominguez? I don't agree if so.
  13. So should we accept what he’s saying as true or not? Seems like you are saying both in this thread. Look, the whole thing is really strange. I don’t know what to believe. I’m not even trying to argue one way or another. But I do think an appeal is a strange thing pull out of your ass. My feeling is that there’s some truth in that. What do you think the purpose was of Venable coming out of the dugout? He doesn’t make mound visits unless he’s changing pitchers. That’s what makes the whole thing so weird.
  14. It was probably a mistake. Not unreasonable that Venable pulled a masterclass on this, but I doubt it. I'm less worried about the gaffe and more worried about Schultz turning into a decent starter though.
  15. Today

  16. Yes - ump originally called that Noah could pitch to the current batter and be pulled after. After obvious objection from Guards manager and back and forth from umps they said he had to be pulled immediately. Looking at the timestamps from the game it bought Sandlin ~3 mins.
  17. Hagen has looked far nastier to me than Noah when I've watched him pitch. I think he's going to impress. What a weird song and dance to move Fedde to the pen only for Schultz to pitch half an inning before being sent down.
  18. Hang on.....I wasn't watching and only saw things after the fact......was Sandling given extra time to warm up? If so, then he 100% gamed the system. We had seen that act before with Schultz he wasn't going to give the Sox anything last evening and pulling the plug early was the correct call. In regard ruining a pitcher I think the job is mental and muscle memory unlike hitting which I think is 90% mental and experience when you get to the MLB. He now knows what he needs to work on moreso than pitching in the minors and dominating.
  19. Fun fact: Hagen is one of the few pro ballplayers who uses a Nokona glove. I'll be curious if Rawlings buys his loyalty upon arrival to MLB. I was always a Nokona guy when I played so I'm partial to their stuff.
  20. Nah, win today or tomorrow and all is well
  21. Win tonight eases the pain. Loss and the season is over.
  22. My daughter went to Lola last Friday for who I guess was a headliner to see someone that was a no show. Wasn't much of a story.
  23. This is a deep cut. Where do you think those drones that were terrorizing New Jersey came from? The alien craft production center beneath the Bermuda Triangle.
