There is some weird obsession fans have with guys production over small samples. You're literally talking about 46 at bats. To answer your question, he's been worth .6 fWAR. While running a 486 BABIP. Maybe you think he's going to start running 486 BABIP's for fun, but I have my doubts! If he was running a 293 BABIP (where his career has been so far), he'd be hitting around 230 over that period of time. That said, his xwOBA is at a much more respectable 343 over that period of time, but again it's small sample noise. He's very likely still a bad baseball player. He's also been a negative defender over that same period.

Fedde had bad-to-middling stuff and Detmers has very very good stuff. So they're not at all similar to me.

I was thinking Erick Fedde's breakout season, but yeah, something doesn't pass the smell test.

Will Ferrell is the perfect bit part player. He knocks out of the park about 10 to 15 minutes worth of screen time in a movie. The longer he is on air, the worse it is. Back to the positives, I don't know if anyone else is watching the WWII series with Tom Hanks on History, but it's their best series in quite a while, and one of the better ones they have done on it. The other one I wanted to mention is a YouTube only TV series out of England, but Taskmaster is peak British comedy. It is a reality contest show, but OMG is it hilarious. It has 20 seasons, but my kid turned me on to season 19, because Jason Matzoukas is on it, and it was incredible. I had never heard of it, or anyone else on it, before, but I laughed out loud at least 2 to 3 times per episode.

Só where are you projecting him to finish the season? Taking more and more time from Antonacci against LHP or perhaps Meidroth? Then Vargas/Mune takes Benintendi DH at bats away, right, with Colson at 3B? Or CF at bats from Peters? What about Grichuk?
