  1. Posting evidence to disprove BS isn't really "flexing". You're just proving my statement. This is like the 3rd or 4th time that somebody has posted news stories where Wheeler verifies that the Sox offered more money than the Phillies, and he took less to go to Philadelphia. And sure enough, next time, you guys dig in and play these pedantic word games, and deflect about Benintendi's contract, all in the service of not admitting that the Sox have offered $100M contracts to players. Just admit it and move on.
  2. Show any evidence of that, please.
  3. It's not an anonymous leak. Wheeler and his agent have verified that bit. I've given you 3 examples of that. Your hatred is so deep-seated that you argue with reality.
  4. You have issues understanding English sentences as they're written. I don't care if you trust the Sox or not. I have told you numerous times to please criticize Getz and the Sox. I want you to do that. Do you understand that sentence? Criticize the White Sox as often as you can. You picking on your own interpretation of me liking a player on the sox isn't criticizing or not trusting the White Sox. It's you having issues with people NOT complaining about and trusting the team.
  5. AJ Pierzynski tells him, "You took less money", and Wheeler doesn't correct him. It's really weird that you think Rick Hahn has this power over all of humanity to turn us all into zombie slaves and parrot his narrative. Here's another news story where Wheeler says he took less money: Phillies, Zack Wheeler discussing contract extension – NBC Sports Philadelphia
  6. Irony has nothing to do with this. I literally posted a video of Wheeler talking about taking less money from the Phillies. Then 3 or 4 of you guys just keep posting deflecting drive bys that have nothing to do with anything. I look forward to this exact argument happening again in two weeks when the same people will dig in and try to qualify their wrong statements. And really, Dick. I'm pretty quick to admit to being wrong when shown.
  7. These guys will do or say anything just to not admit their inane narrative is BS.
  8. Why do you think he didn't? He wanted to play in Philadelphia. Throwing extra money and years at players to make them come here is how we have Benintendi with his great contract. How's that working out for you?
  9. Here's Zach Wheeler talking about it with AJ Pierzynski. You guys keep talking about threads being ruined with the same argument over and over. Stop ruining them. Accept reality, and move on.
  10. There is no ambiguity. The White Sox offered Wheeler more money. He went to the Phillies, instead. Report: Zack Wheeler turned down more money from White Sox to sign with Phillies
  11. And Wheeler and Wheeler's agent also verified.
  12. rotation" Cannon, Burke, Martin, Perez, Iriarte bullpen Karinchak, Anderson, B. Wilson, S. Smith, Booser*, Varland, Ellard*, Murfee c - Thaiss/Lee 1B - Vaughn 2B - Drury 3B - Vargas SS - Baldwin OF - Benintendi, Taylor, Tauchman/Slater DH - Sosa bench - Rojas, Colas Anderson loses the closer spot to Karinchak after a few weeks. Thorpe starts the year rehabbing in AAA. Perez, B. Wilson, and S. Smith can't be optioned. Oh, and Robert gets traded. Edit: whoops, had one too many bullpenners. Took out Shuster.
  13. The Tigers started 7 of their playoff starters in the final game of the season. Dude, you're just making s%*# up at this point.
  14. You know what...nevermind.
  15. When asked, hypothetically, if he would ever move into a front office (no, he's not a manager of a staff), if a team like the White Sox came calling, would he be tempted by the challenge? (Great opportunity to propose and implement new ideas.) Gave an emphatic "no" to a question of whether candidates were crazy to take a job in the organization. He said there were worse situations (Wilpon Mets, Angelos family, The Angels). He doesn't know exactly how involved Reinsdorf is right now, but.... KL: At least right now, I don't get the sense that Reinsdorf is doing anything that is going to actively prevent them from getting better. Whereas I think that's happening with the Angels right now. JM: Until it comes time to sign a hundred million dollar player, and then... KL: Yes. They've got a minute until they actually get back there, and we'll see who's actually running the club at that point.
  16. Dubious of Colson Montgomery. Likes Noah Schultz. Podcast: Keith Law stops by to talk 2025 White Sox farm system
  17. I said that once. You're good at searching the site. How many times did you beat us over the head with M.A.T.? Njigba? Or this dumpster-diving meme?
  18. The Padres haven't won a World Series. I'm not sure what's so hard to understand about that sentence.
  19. I think you logged into the wrong account in responding to this. Sure there's a correlation. The Padres have been throwing around stupid money for a decade. We could sign Andrew Vaughn for 10/$600M, and it wouldn't add a win.
  20. I know that. And $40M/yr is what Bregman is actually going to get paid. That's what I'm referring to.
  21. I'm looking at how this guy had to tell everyone as often as possible that his idea of signing M.A.T. was baseball brilliance. I look forward to a top 3 in the MVP balloting.
  22. It's cute when fans of teams that have never seen a championship count up playoff games and dollars spent, as if they have banners for Bogaerts' big paychecks. LOL.
  23. Of course it is. The White Sox certainly had 4 winning seasons in 5 around the time they won a World Series, something the Padres have never done, and probably won't do with this bunch of players. It's funny guys like you would rather their team never win a championship, just as long as you get to root for money being spent. LOL.
