AL Central 1st to Last Prediction
This thread is such an indication of why the Sox struggle to sell tickets, even when they're good. Opening day will not sell out this year. Our fanabse just flat out sucks.

4/5- Sox/Padres, 2:10 central
Always liked Dedelow, from when he tore up the Pioneer League a few years back.

Nice frame

Micker Adolfo DFA'd
I thought that was on him, but it wasn't. Replay showed he had a good enough jump on the ball, just not fast enough to get there.

He's a human grape.

Outside of the Rays, no team scouts better IMO than the Padres. I'm pretty sure they won't be fooled by a ST sample size.

Cueto to Sox (Official)
What's odd here is that Hahn found a reason to give Velasquez a guaranteed contract instead of using this same deal on him. No one was lining up for Velasquez’s services.

Cueto to Sox (Official)
4 pages in and people still not understanding how a minor league deal works and bitching about $4.2 million which aren't guaranteed. SMH

Cueto to Sox (Official)
This move literally cost the Sox nothing. Plus, it only improves their negotiating stand w/ teams looking to trade a veteran (Montas) by telling them we have have bodies on standby if a trade can't be made.

Austin Meadows traded to the Tigers
No team spends $180 million without the goal to win a championship.
-
Austin Meadows traded to the Tigers
$182 million payroll but people still believe this front office isn't serious about winning.

Well, he was blocking Franco, so that deal was 100% validated.

We just added a 3 WAR player from 2021 and they added a 2 WAR player. You guys just like to freak out about everything. Always squint with one eye when the Rays make a trade like this.

4/4- Sox at Cubs, 3:05, Marquee
You need serious help if you gamble on baseball ST.

4/4- Sox at Cubs, 3:05, Marquee
All of a sudden our bullpen depth scares me. Ruiz needs to be launched to the moon.

Manaea to Padres, Sox were in on him
Sox front office should be pushing 500lbs per man with all tables they've sat in.
-
Manaea to Padres, Sox were in on him
Typical "I don't realize my team has a very weak farm" response.
-
Manaea to Padres, Sox were in on him
Hindsight is undefeated. Obviously by the Pollack move and being close on Manaea here at the end, the Sox had a plan in place.

Manaea to Padres, Sox were in on him
Man, Friday feels like last year.

Manaea to Padres, Sox were in on him
If there was hesitancy to do it for Corbin Burnes, then sure as hell there's no reason to even consider it for these leftovers out there.

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
This is the Carlos Rodon craziness again. What good does a limited sample size do for you when you can't count on the player to be there at the end?
