4/4 Games (Opening Day for Minors)
Ok. The culture of users definitely went underground - used to be much more open - but people aren't dumb. Agree to disagree but I can say that pretty confidently. Obviously an estimation though.

No way on 50% in MLB anymore. Pre-2004ish it was 50%+ I'd say. But that's speculation. Post 2004ish, college wasn't even close to 50% and college had just as big of a problem prior. I'd say college was less than 20%, and minor league baseball wasn't anything like it was prior either. You're probably looking at around 10% today.

Not gonna entertain this much more, but there's the body of an obvious steroid user. Looks like every baseball bro teammate I ever had who actually lifted.

4/4 Games (Opening Day for Minors)
This is nonsense. If you work out youd know? Lol The internet is a great place. Been in baseball gyms with thin juicers and bulky naturals. This isnt 1993 pal. There are roids that would keep you thin but chiseled and incredibly strong.. allows you to keep speed. Trout has been taking a shit all over baseball since he was 14 years old. He was a stocky fast high school super star. Football build. Never missed a beat in the minors. No body transformations.

4/4 Games (Opening Day for Minors)
Yeah, and while bonds was a top 5 player ever without the juice I'm also not going to give him full credit for how he ended his career.
-
4/4 Games (Opening Day for Minors)
Bonds was great at the start but he did not start his career as well as Trout.
-
4/4 Games (Opening Day for Minors)
Well he doesn't have a higher ceiling than Mike Trout.. because, like, Mike trout has possibly had the best start to a career in baseball history.

Robert k's. Demote him.

4/4 Games (Opening Day for Minors)
His most likely outcome is a guy who went 40/40 twice? And his high outcome is the best player in the past 50 years? Yeesh, setting that bar high boys.

Sox and Tribe Game #2
Yes. This is my thought. There isnt a better man in the game to talk to about struggling as a huge prospect out of the gate.

Sox and Tribe Game #2
Defensive metrics are volatile. His worst season ever was +6 DRS which is well above average. The two years prior to that which were his last two full years at third were +13 and +14 and he accrued one of those in under 1000 innings. He's already +2 this year. Over the three year sample on Donaldson has had a period near mannys in his career I believe Calling Manny Machado an average 3rd baseman is odd especially since you call him an elite hitter when he's 20% better than league average for his career and defensively he's nearly 100% better than league average.
-
Sox and Tribe Game #2
Yeah he will never ever be Machado defensively but that's fine. His bat and offensive game in general (speed and base running) have a chance to be better than machado.
-
Sox and Tribe Game #2
Yeah I have no idea what this post even means. He graded out as being one of the 5 best ever in regards to his start over there.
-
Sox and Tribe Game #2
He's mediocre at third? He was the best defensive third baseman in baseball by pretty much every metric over his time there. Hes 20% better than league average offensively since he entered the league. That is not elite but it is very good.
-
Sox and Tribe Game #2
I think people need to go back and look a Mannys ops+ and wRC+. Manny is a very good hitter but not elite. Manny is an elite player because he's elite defensively and very good offensively.
-
Sox and Tribe Game #2
Why are you still talking about machado? Move on. Yonder has been a solid add so far and adds to the team. He's a professional

I'm of the "your best hitter should hit 2nd camp" these days.
