  1. What is your cut off. If he's putting up a 900+ ops in that park and that league, that's pretty damn impressive and would still warrant a promotion imo.
  2. Not for a kid who has played on a professional circuit before though. He's played at an elite international level as well. He's not your typical college/high school prospect because of that.
  3. If Robert hits, the White Sox have no made-up excuse. Eloy isn't a great base runner or defender so they could, incorrectly, hide behind him needing more work there. Robert is a great defender and base runner, so if he's hitting with an OPS north of 1000, there's really no excuse for him not to be ready.
  4. If he dominates AA, the Sox will be feeling the pressure come mid-June and July.
  5. He needs to start hitting the ball with some authority. Good plate discipline numbers, but his ISO is atrocious right now. That park is hard, and the league in general greatly suppresses offense, but he's going to have to get his slugging above .400.
  6. Saying he's going to be bad is a bold take. A guy with a 1400 OPS at A+ projects to put up an OPS north of 1250 at AA. Obviously there may be some regression, but I just don't think people are grasping how great Luis Robert has been. He isn't playing the same game as everyone else. If Robert is great at AA, Robert won't see any time at AAA.
  7. After what he just did at A+, if he's putting up a 950-1050+OPS at AA (in that ballpark) he won't be spending any time at AAA I would guess.
  8. If he's great for about 1+ month at AA, he will skip AAA entirely and be with the big club come mid-June.
  9. Pal this isnt a SSS case. He's not just hitting pal, he's absolutely obliterating everything and has an OPS near 1500. There is absolutely nothing left for him to accomplish at this point in A+. To put it into perspective - hes hitting so well at A+ that you could argue he could skip the next level all together. That's how much better he is than his peers right now. When Soto hit A ball pitching like this last year, he pretty much jumped straight to the big leagues and not even he was THIS good.
  10. A guy with a .528 ops isnt someone you want up with the label tying run?
  11. Got no issues going down swinging on a nice pitch.
  12. He's a 250 babip guy with the shift. So he's missing about 75 points which puts him at 250ish.
  13. Ewww Tim anderson uses an A2000 SS glove. How do you not use a heart of the hide SS glove?
  14. Great job by severino there. With that ball looking over your head to break back is pretty sharp.
  15. And his insistence on walking a lead off guy.
  16. Lol sometimes all you can do is shake your head. That was so bad.
  17. B2b lead off walks with a 4-1 lead is just unacceptable.
  18. He's fine. Him being a #5 would be a success story.
  19. Come on Benetti. There was no chance they walked him when it was 1-2 lol.
  20. His stuff is fine. It's not great or "good." Slider doesnt have a ton of depth but has some late bite. Fastball is straight and not very hard or heavy. Curveball is a nice change of pace but it's not great by any means. A show me pitch kind of.
  21. The best hands and wrists in baseball. Tim Anderson.
  22. High Ankle Sprain, which this seems to be, is about 6 weeks.
