  1. The Padres had 44,000 fans yesterday and are on pace to set a franchise attendance record. The Sox had 19,000 fans yesterday. A Tale of Two Franchises.
  2. Really looking forward to seeing Ragans pitch tonight. Kid's been thru a lot and stayed positive the entire time. He's a wonderful story of work ethic and perserverance.
  3. Loud? Twitter scouts everywhere are smiling.
  4. Do you know when a lawyer is lying? His mouth is moving.
  5. We'll only need an egg timer for that honeymoon.
  6. It was buyers market. There were plenty of deals to be made teams just weren't motivated to make them because of the extra wild card spot.
  7. Hitting is hard, Jack. It's not as simple as HIT THE BALL IN THE AIR!
  8. Adding the extra wild card team has made teams less aggressive just like eveyone said it would. Last years deadline was wild and this years is a giant popcorn fart.
  9. It's going to take all of 1 at bat for Padre fans to forget any of the players traded away ever existed. I love AJ Preller.
  10. They try yo jump the market with a low ball offer thinking guys will panic. It "worked" with Grandal because as we all can see he had reason to panic.
  11. They offered Semien a $100M contract. He signed a $175M contract.
  12. He's young and strong and has a fresh arm. This shutting him down crap has to end.
  13. He's not missing bats and his spin rate is down 2! Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggg!
  14. With all these blockbuster trades Hahn has masterminded I didn't realize it's Kopech freak the fuck out night. Fun!
  15. $282,500k to pass up Michigan St. Sheesh. Good luck kid.
  16. Here's something I've come to figure out about the Sox FO. They decide what they're willing to offer in a trade or free agent signing instead of offering what it takes to get the deal done. They'll say we'll offer you this and when it gets turned down they'll say oh well we tried. They want deals on their own terms and aren't willing to do whatever it takes to get it done. This "strategy" is one of the main reasons why they're fighting for their playoff lives instead of being one of the best teams in the league in year thousand of the damn rebuild.
  17. Hahn could've had Borucki a month ago for next to nothing but he was sitting on his brains.
  18. Preller pretty much got Taylor for free. Paddock is hurt and Pagan stinks. Upgrading to Hader with a couple prospects is a no brainer for a guy willing to drop his nut sack on the table.
