Josh Hader traded to Padres

AJ Preller is a mad man.

The world needs more AJ Prellers.

So Preller trades for Rogers and then trades Rogers for Hader. It really feels like Preller is playing GM mode on MLB The Show.

Whoa, kind of surprised MIwaukee deal him, but at the same time, that is a return.

That's a nice package for Milwaukee, and they still have a good bullpen. I imagine this is a precursor move for San Diego.

SD is running a helluva operation. Not sure if it will work but they sure try.

This is also what you can do when you can draft and develop prospects.

Padres didn't give up anyone vital for the Soto pursuit in this deal.

Still have the big name prospects to go after Soto.

Note: I'd take Preller's wheeling and dealing in a heart beat over the Sox constantly hedging bets, but dude is actually insane.

Their roster is such a strange collections of players.

Team full of assholes

Preller pretty much got Taylor for free.  Paddock is hurt and Pagan stinks.  Upgrading to Hader with a couple prospects is a no brainer for a guy willing to drop his nut sack on the table.

Pretty crazy that with all of the wheeling and dealing they’ve done and with the size of their payroll they might have 1 of the worst OF’s in baseball. Wil Myers and Profar as the best you can trot out is no good

Mazara is also playing for them against RHP.

Preller is an absolute Chad.

Nice to see a 1st place team not let a good player walk.

Looking at you, White Sox.

I was honestly surprised how bad their offense looked against the Twins. After Machado and Cronenworth, a lot of those guys aren't that much better than what the Sox are trotting out there.

Profar would be second on the white sox in war.
