  1. Schultz for 6 Cags for 3. ?
  2. Not to pick nits but he's already on the payroll as a special advisor and he travels with the team. He can finish out the string and they can do a manager search during the off season. Plus Reinsdorf wouldn't have to pay two people to do the same job which we all know he absolutely hates doing.
  3. LaRussa as interim manager. Where did I hear that before...
  4. Marcus Giles was a 2B. Brian Giles was an OF and they both had a little help. ?
  5. Likey a bench guy. Maybe a low impact 2B on a non contending team.
  6. They can sell having the top rated farm system. Fans eat that s%*# up.
  7. Trade em all. Fire the coaching staff. Turn it all over.
  8. 5 punchies for Big George. Zoinks
  9. Porter Hodge?? Good lord where do all these relievers come from.
  10. It really sucks Moncada got hurt because he would look great in a Cubs uniform.
  11. Julks is a nice player. I wish he were a couple years younger but he could be a 4th OF'er type for the next couple/few years.
  12. Grifol and others will be fired as soon as Reinsdorf gives the ok.
  13. The man has a gift. Everything he touches turns to s%*#.
  14. Holy s%*# Matthew Thompson walked 6 guys in 1 inning?!? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
  15. Very disappointed I'm not going to see how the lil fella would f*** up this series.
  16. Seattle is a good match too. They fielded calls on Robert this past off season but told teams they weren't trading him so they already know who's interested but you're right. He needs to go on an absolute tear so they can get strong offers at the deadline.
  17. I think there are a few more than that and the nice thing is they're all playoff contenders. The first call I would make is to Preller and say it starts with Jackson Merrill.
  18. They need a strong run out of Robert up to the trade deadline. It starts tonight!
  19. The scary thing about Nastrini is the spiked fastballs. Pitchers don't spike fastballs at any level and he spikes 3-4 a game. It's clearly a mental thing with him and how he made it to the big leagues without truly trusting his fastball is amazing and a little hard to believe.
