Real nice swing here by Dillon. He's had a tough time with pitches at the top of the zone this spring because he lays the bat flat on his shoulder and leans back to artificially create leverage and lift. The results have been that he swings over them or bangs them into the ground. Here he stays more upright and swings thru the ball. He's still going in the first round because of his speed/power (potential) combination but I think the first thing a team does is change his bat position and path.

This is the exact kind of season I was hoping for. Reinsdorf is going to think long and hard about selling after this fiasco. Even if they sell off players in June he's still gonna lose his ass this year.

The fact that they considered Romy the 26th best player in the organization is scary as hell. That dude suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks.

There is absolutely zero reason to put Crochet back in the big league bullpen for a lost season. They should let him start all year in AA and try to maximize his talent. They have a golden opportunity here to right a wrong. This is one of the thousand reasons Hahn needs to be fired yesterday because he won't make the correct decision on what's best for the organization going forward.
