  1. No MLB Players Association license but Baseball Stars was awesome back in the day. Great gameplay and the players’ attributes actually dictated how well you could play with them.
  2. From your fingers to Ricky’s brain... hopefully.
  3. No, because everyone realizes Madrigal is ready for the bigs. Spending $8+ million on a starting 2B for a year wouldn’t make much sense when you can just call up Madrigal a few weeks into the season. Hahn made his major acquisitions at every position of need — 2 SP, C, RF, DH, and RP. Someone may question catcher but anyone betting on McCann to repeat last year would be taking on quite the bad bet.
  4. If he had hit last season like he did in 2017, he probably gets over $10 million for two years. But that OBP matching your SLG is too weak to overcome, gold glove or not.
  5. A good young Sox roster will unite us all... ... until Ricky’s first boneheaded managerial decision, of course.
  6. Ironically, there has not been one piece of news about any team other than the Sox being interested in Yolmer. Surprising.
  7. Seriously, is this really some big exciting gift to Sox fans? Wow.
  8. If the Sox sign Maybin, maybe he’s legit? That’s a specific name to throw out there over other guys like Pillar, Pence, Zobrist, etc.
  9. David Haugh with a good question for once.
  10. Who the hell chooses the handle of some obscure reliever to tweet MLB rumors?
  11. I feel the opposite and he will be a bust this year. I think we got the best of him last year.
  12. Medeiros is hanging on simply due to his handedness and draft position. Dude walks the world. The Sox waived Juan Minaya last year and he was probably better than Tayron Guerrero ever will be. They are both 29 years old.
  13. With pot now legalized, it could make for some trippy live game viewing experiences.
  14. Probably the one area that could be a hole if Colome isn’t as dominant as he was last year. No idea if the Mets would trade Diaz but that would greatly improve the bullpen by pushing every other reliever down a slot.
  15. Definitely too much for Colome but it’s not like Betances was signing here so it’s fine.
  16. LOL!!! That Gore at bat for the Cubs could quite possibly be the worst at bat I have ever seen in my life. Which game was that? I need to find a video of that epic failure.
  17. Do we have enough room on the bench for: Maybin Leury Engel Mendick
  18. Yes, I just have the feeling we would all have buyer’s remorse after two years of Syndergaard, watching him leave via free agency and realizing we could’ve had 4 more years of Cease.
  19. Why did his old account get blocked and banned from Twitter?
  20. Let’s be honest... if Maybin was good enough for the Yankees last year, he’s good enough for the Sox.
  21. That’s ricist! I’m surprised you didn’t say Timmay would also have a new best friend! I like the idea because Maybin is a nice fourth outfielder.
  22. I take the guy with more perceived value — Liberatore. IMO, the Cardinals could deal him now and get an even better return than what they gave up.
  23. Marcell Ozuna says he’s signing with either the Cardinals or Rangers. Cardinals are his preference. https://mobile.twitter.com/BNightengale/status/1215458702213308417
  24. I’m not buying in. Didn’t hit until he repeated A, AA, and AAA when he was older than his competition and he’s turning 25 next month.
